Service
A live table map on every counter: free, occupied and idle tables, several tickets per table, takeaway, moving and merging. Each person logs in with their own PIN.
Cash and the day
Shifts with an opening float, cash drops and pay-outs, a blind cash-up by denomination with supervisor sign-off, and a Z report when the day closes.
Back office
Menu and prices, stock from the store to the bar, counts with variance in shillings, a cash book and expenses, and reports that print or export to Excel.
One Print button
The bill for the customer. The slip for the counter. Never a missing order.
Press Print once. The customer's bill comes out first with every item, then a slip with only the new items goes to the counter that pours them. The server prints to network, Windows-shared or USB printers, and if a printer is off, the order shows "Not printed · Retry" so nothing is lost.
Cashier control
Waiters order. The cashier settles. Every shilling has a name on it.
- Every order, void and payment is recorded with who did it and on which counter.
- Voids, gifts and price changes need a supervisor's PIN, on the spot or from their own counter.
- Cash with change, M-Pesa with the code, card and split payments.
- Receipts with your name and logo, listing every item and the VAT included.
- You decide who can do what: Allowed, Needs approval or Not allowed, per role.
Built for the night the internet goes down
Tausi POS doesn't depend on the cloud. Your data stays on your own server, and service carries on whatever happens outside.
Your own server
One PC in the back office runs everything over your local network. No internet needed to trade.
Backups twice a day
Every night and again at 18:00, checked after each run and copied to a second place.
Updates after closing
Signed updates install once the day is closed, and the counters update themselves.

Send us your menu and prices, a spreadsheet or a SambaPOS export. We set up items, tables, counters and printers.
Step 2: We install on site
Tausi Server on one PC in your building and Tausi Terminal on each counter, all on your own network.

Waiters, cashiers, supervisors and owners each learn their own screens, then we stay on call for the first busy weekend.
